Clearer
Always know where you are and where you are going
A new look, in e-Schooling’s colours, makes it obvious when you are in your account and when you have moved on to one of the school’s applications.
- In My schools, each application opens in one click, in a new tab and already signed in.
- When you recover your password or finish signing up, Back to sign-in takes you back to the application you came from, and it is visible at every step.
- A simple menu that fits a phone: Home (your details), My schools, Licences, Other ways to sign in, Security and Sign-ins.
- In Licences, the app licences of your children and, under Purchases, what you paid each year, with the period and the invoice of each purchase.
More transparent
See who has access to your account, and decide
The Security and Sign-ins pages show, in one place, how your account is protected and how it has been signed into.
- Devices: the phones signed in through the apps, with the model, when they signed in and when they were last used. Lost one, or had it stolen? Sign it out, or sign out all of them.
- Sign-ins: when and how your account was signed into. One you do not recognise stands out.
- Other ways to sign in: your Google and Microsoft links, with the date each was added. Remove any you do not recognise. When a new one is linked, you get an email.
- The status of two-step verification and how many recovery codes you have left.
- When you create a password, each rule turns green as you type. Try it here.
Devices
The phones signed in to your account through the apps.
- At least 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one digit
- At least one special character (for example ! ? # @)
Demonstration. Nothing you type leaves this page.
More secure
A second key for every account
With two-step verification, a password is no longer enough on its own. After it, you are asked for a 6-digit code that only the account’s owner has.
- Authenticator app: Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator or another. It works offline, and in the apps that support it the account shows with the e-Schooling Account icon.
- Code by email, valid for 10 minutes. You can have both: without your phone at hand, ask for the code by email.
- Recovery codes so you are never locked out, and the option to remember the browser for 30 days.
- One strong password rule for everyone, recovery links that expire in 24 hours, a limit on attempts and keys stored encrypted.
Enter the code
Open the authenticator app and type the e-Schooling Account code.
Help signing in
Cannot sign in? Find out why, without waiting
The sign-in page always has a shortcut to the Help Center. Its tools answer the most common cases straight away.
- What is wrong with my account? Type what you use to sign in (username, email, alias or mobile number): the diagnosis goes to the account’s email, with what is stopping you and what to do. For security, the page never shows it.
- A link I received does not work: paste the link from an email (invitation, recovery, confirmation) and see whether it still works or you need a new one.
- The browser and the time: checks that cookies are on and that the device’s clock is right. With the wrong time, authenticator codes are not accepted.
- For school staff: in eSchooling Vision, on each user, Troubleshoot sign-in explains in plain words what is going on with the account and can resend the invitation or the password link to the person’s email.

For your school
What this means day to day
Nothing to install
Everyone signs in as always, with the same account. The new features are already there.
Fewer requests to the school office
Each person signs out a lost phone on their own, sees the password rules before getting it wrong and finds out in the Help Center why they cannot sign in.
The school office solves it faster
Troubleshoot sign-in in eSchooling Vision says what is going on with the account and sends the right emails. When that is not enough, the request goes to e-Schooling support with the diagnosis already attached.
Protection to measure
Anyone who wants more security turns on two-step verification in a few minutes, under Security in the account menu.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to do anything?
No. Your account and the applications keep working as before. We recommend that everyone visits the Security page and turns on two-step verification.
Where do I turn on two-step verification?
Sign in at auth.e-schooling.com and open Security in the menu. Choose the authenticator app (it reads a QR code) or the code by email. At the end, keep the recovery codes somewhere safe.
I cannot sign in. What do I do?
On the sign-in page, click “See what may be going on” and use “What is wrong with my account?” in the Help Center. The answer goes to the account’s email, with the next step. If the account has no email, or you still cannot sign in, talk to your school office.
I lost my phone. What now?
Sign in to your account from a computer, open Security and, under Devices, click Sign out on the lost phone. If the authenticator app was on that phone, use a recovery code or ask for the code by email.
Does my old password stop working?
No. The new rule (8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a digit and a special character) applies when you create or change your password.
Where are the licence invoices?
In Licences, under Purchases: each purchase shows the period it paid for and its invoice, including previous years’.
My account shows as blocked. What do I do?
Ask your school for help. The school office arranges the unblocking with e-Schooling.
